Virtual psychotherapy in Ontario
Are your thoughts, moods, feelings, or behaviours negatively impacting your ability to enjoy your daily life and relationships? Maybe you want to make a change, but you don't know where to begin.
Together, we can create positive changes in how you think, feel, and behave.
According to psychological research, nature can sharpen our minds and improve our mental health (i.e., emotional, psychological, and social well-being). Personally, I am my most authentic and connected self within nature.
I use my indoor garden to tend to my well-being as it reminds me to slow down daily and engage in ways that align with my values.
You might have heard statements like, "the brain is plastic" or, "neurons that fire together wire together" during discussions on neuroplasticity.
I like to compare the brain to a garden; what we nourish flourishes, and what we neglect gets pruned.
Some of the most common areas of focus that I regularly treat include:
stress & anxiety,
trauma,
depression & suicidal ideation,
identity (s.a., neurodiversity, gender, sexuality, disability, spirituality, culture, etc.),
life transitions,
interpersonal difficulties,
grief & loss,
body image & self-esteem,
and anger management.
If you have concerns in an area not listed, you're welcome to book a free consultation. As a supervised RP, I work with diverse populations, diagnoses, and presenting concerns. I would love to learn more about what brings you to therapy and discuss how I can help you in your healing journey.
While sessions occur virtually within Ontario, the owner of Garden of Wellness Psychotherapy resides in Windsor-Essex County. As such, I respectfully acknowledge that where I practice is the traditional territory of the Anishinabek Nation of the Three Fires Confederacy (Nswi-Shkodewin), comprised of the Ojibwe, the Odawa, and the Potawatomi (Boodiwaadmi) Peoples. This territory is honoured by the Wampum Treaties.
